Today was a good day. I got to preach at Rivertown Church.
- I feel both services the messages were strong, but I think the first one was the best of the two.
- I taught out of Luke 2. I challenged our church on Luke 2:11, the angels announced that the baby Jesus was the Savior, Christ, and Lord. I taught that we forget often what that what that means to us and how Christmas would be different if we really lived that out. I also, taught that Christmas isn't just about the birth of a baby, but the day salvation arrived.
- We handed out some yard signs promoting our Christmas Eve Service.
- Our attendance was kind of low. We had a handful of college students home for Christmas and some regulars gone for the week.
- I had Scott, close out the service with 'No Greater Love' by Casey Darnell. I thought it was a strong closer to really make the message hit home.
Overall, it was a good Sunday.
I can't wait until our Christmas Eve Service it's going to be awesome!
Hello, here's the usual spot you'd hear about me in a cutting edge type of way with some engaging terminology. You'd probably see some buzz words in the mix as well, but let's keep it simple.
