People are hurting, Offer hope today

I was doing some people watching the other morning and just felt burdened for the people around me in that coffee shop. I could just sense the pain some of the people were going through. And it got me to start praying for strangers and challenged me to speak more words of encouragement into the lives of those around me.

There are people all around us who are hurting because of sin, the economy, decisions they've made, and/or decisions others have made. We are called to be the salt and light of the world and offer hope to these people.

What can you do today to offer a bit of hope for someone? How can you encourage someone today? You have no idea how much impact a simple word of encouragement could have on someone's life.
