Your best plan to avoid a moral failure, compromise, and/or mess up:
Isn't avoiding every possible situation.
Isn't avoiding being alone with the opposite sex.
Isn't having the most full proof plan.
It's praying and having God change your sinful heart.
You've got intentions/desires in your heart,
that if God doesn't deal with, will overtake you.
You and I have a deep sinful desires that need to be stopped and dealt with. Pray and beg God to give you a clean, renewed, and pure heart. Your heart will deceive you and over time will lead you to a very painful and public moral failure.
What do you need to bring to God in repentance of?
What desire do you need to bring to God to have him deal with?
Hello, here's the usual spot you'd hear about me in a cutting edge type of way with some engaging terminology. You'd probably see some buzz words in the mix as well, but let's keep it simple.
Dude. So true.
There's always so much talk about "follow your heart", but the Bible says that my heart is "deceitful and desperately wicked" in Jeremiah 17:9. If it's wicked and deceitful, why would I trust it? That doesn't make sense.
We need a changed heart, but a perfected heart won't come until we're out of this place.
